The World ends with you
Soma Bringer (with english patch)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 (hope it'll get leaked, will be japanese)
Chrono Trigger
Dragon Quest V (although the others are better)

Golden Sun - yes. Breath of Fire I+II - meh. They're terribly generic by today's standards. III and IV on the PS1 were excellent though.

PS. Avoid Dragon Quarter on the PS2. It's arse-achingly dull.

Oh, if you have GBA access (Or you could just buy them, they probally barely cost 10 bucks), get Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1 and 2. They are both amazing SRPGs (Plays like Fire Emblem, just with Giant Robots, and units dont die permanently), story is pretty good too, and gets pretty difficult depending on how well you play.

I do not have game boy advance access but thank you for the suggestions. I have played chrono trigger but am taking a break from it cause it annyoing, I have soma bringer in english and beat the world ends with you. Also have super robot taisen and am not going to play kingdom hearts in japanese lol. Maybe I'll try golden sun or Contact.

Chrono Trigger was great. It was a classic! But never mind.

ARPG:
Avalon Code- I love the "code" system but may prove to be cumbersome
Children of Mana- It was meh. But then it is full of dungeon crawling action
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles- Both of the game. If you haven't already. Especially EoT with the co-op. And RoF has an awesome story.
Phantasy Star Zero- In japanese. But the arpg aspects is there.

Turn-Based RPG:
FF III/IV- Both were good ports. FF is a great rpg
DQV- Great game. The wagon and monster recruiting was fun. Nice story
DQM: Joker- Nice game that is kinda like pokemon. But with DQ monsters.
Pokemaz- Nuff said.

SRPG:
Valkyrie Profile: CoTP- Nice system. Love it
Fire Emblem- How could I have missed it? ~MUST TRY~

Others:
Shin Megami Tensei: Devi Survivor- coming out on 6/23 ... Preview here
Rune Factory- Harvest Moon's farming simulation was great.... what if it was combined with ARPG features? And presented in nice anime style!

The best ds game that I have played is The World Ends With You by far so it is kind of hard to make good recomendations
Final Fantasy 4, and Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles (both ring of fates and echoes of time)
If you really like WEWY I think you may like Pokemon Platinum

devil survivor is an srpg?, from the screen i thought it was like etrian with predetermined char, summon night ?,luminous arc 1&2, about pokemon since after finishing pearl, i didn't want to touch platinum, err i don't know what else to play, summon night on gba? (swordcraft)
