What is the best backup loader to play MH3? preferably one that doesn't need a USB device.
hmmm....aren't backup loaders programs that use usb devices?
the only other way I can think of, without using usb is directly though the disk channel but you must have darkcorps and a fairly old wii...I believe newer wiis can't play backup disks
No, those are USB loaders. Backup loaders = Disc Backup Loaders + USB/SD loaders.
NeoGamma is the best Disc based backup loader, so try that
I got neogamma but when I try to start MH3 I get a black screen. also before that during the intro video there was weird lag every few seconds. one of the read mes for neogamma said "You need a cIOS based on IOS37 like cIOS37 rev19 or higher." are there any steps on how to do this?
go to this page, download the installer, and read instructions
I have that already but I didn't read txts sorry...(the txts are type out weird)
if this is too complicated for u, download nus auto downloader from my signature and use it
Honestly, NUSAD can't make it easier than described there...
Also, I edited that wad manager note.
I already have that and Hermes cIOS installed
oh and a couple quick question. when ever I finally get this to work will I be able to play online? also is there a preferred disc burning program?
but what rev do u currently have installed?
on the neogamma menu it says cIOS38 rev19 slot 249
okay, what base did u use to install it, u even said yourself u need base IOS37
It was IOS38 do I need to go back and uninstall?
lol, i don't know how I missed that 38, but the point still got across
just reinstall/overwrite it, but this time using base 37, u don't need to uninstall anything
It finally works thank you very much!!
Will online play work?
your very welcome!
Now go forth, and share what you have learned, my young Padawan
online play should work just fine
