What about the XCI floating around?
The eevee one looks to be legit, I havn't seen the pikachu one around or in xci format

there was a lot of clean up to do on a certain dark site :P
also just to say there has been also a couple of fake Eeevee nsp ones posted as well (despite there being many legit ones out there of Eeevee)

I would advise to be always careful and try to verify the nsp file

Why would anyone do this? Except for Nintendo (undercover agents) why on earth would someone go through the trouble of bricking others' console?

Why the hell would someone create a fake nsp just to mess up peoples NSW units. Serioulsy that person should get coal for christmas. My advice is to wait for a scene release or check comments on legit forums before attempting to install.

Apparently some dicks at Dark***** (can't say it's name cause it's a piracy website) thought it would be funny to spread a fake NSP of Pokemon let's go, Pikachu! It then spread to discord where most people saw their switches getting bricked.

Rei/ScriesM or heck even TX/garyopa if you're reading this. Please put an option for first time users or when you upgrade CFW to prompt them to backup their NAND with an option to do so. It should be made automatically enabled but you can disable it manually.

When hacks come out I usually try to read as much as possible about them, and in every tutorial I read up until now it is adviced to make a nand backup.
People should start to understand that this step has a point and isnt there just to let them wait 1h.
Not that I dislike your Idea though.

Yeah I got bricked from this, however I restored my Switch from a NAND backup. This thread is just another reminder to make a full NAND backup, no matter how long it takes!

Sorry for my noob ? here - but my hard drive died that had my NAND backup on it. Even though I have already hacked would it be beneficial to make a "new" NAND backup even though I already have CFW loaded up?

Well, people who doesn't take care, deserves whatever happens to them. Whatever thing it is... But making fake files that brick, well, that's to be a douche...

Anyways, what's the discord all these scene news or whatever they are is? Oh, and one more thing, could anybody tell me the average size of a dump? As I saw, Let's Go is probably about 8GB~? I am willing to buy one or two SD and I was thinking about 2 64GB for 13€ each.

Thank you very much.
