ROM Hack LemmingsDS 3.2 DLDI Port Complete

I have complete a DLDI port of the LemmingsDS 3.2 source code.

If you just want to play it, extract the LemDS_DLDI.rar to the ROOT of your flash card. I could not program the paths to present working directory, so everything must be in place correctly. The rar has the directory format that is expected. It goes like this:

/LemDS/graphics - Sprites and backgrounds files
/LemDS/music - xm music files.
/LemDS/levels/canon - Canonical level files. There should be 120 levels.
/LemDS/levels/custom - Custom level files. Just drop them in here and they will automatically be detected. Maximum number of custom levels is currently 50. This can probably be increased.

In /LemDS is "mattproj_lem_ds.nds" the actual rom. Make sure to use your DLDI patcher of choice before running it."

Files here You would need to register first, would've put them here myself but wasnt sure of the legality of it.

I'm slurping this up now. I played a beta version that only had a few levels and it was great. Will definitely enjoy the complete version.

Thats because this release only contains two playable levels.

It doesnt state anywhere that it contains 120 playable levels.

I can imagine Sony being a bit pissed over this homebrew release, since they own all the rights to Lemmings.

Actually, it does state that "There should be 120 levels" in the original post. Nowhere did it say anything about only having 2 playable levels.

There are 120 level files in the "canon" folder and 1 file in the "custom" folder. Total of 121 levels. To be honest, I never tried the custom level....but it only plays 2 of the 120 levels.

That was the point I was trying to make.

Yes, it should work fine with any DLDI supported card.

No, that is correct. There must be 120 files, but they are not all valid levels.
They are just stubs until a map pack is developed/level converted finished.
