Hacking Leaving menu hack installation files on SD

Me again.

Now, if I finish installing a System Menu hacking software like Priiloader or Startpatch, do I leave the installation files on the Wii if, and only if, I need to make alterations? If not, do I just throw them away, while keeping the backup of the files on my computer?

Leaving them there won't hurt, but if kids use the Wii it's best to remove them so they won't be ran by accident.
