Gateway 3.1 is currently using save exploit done on OOT save. Assuming we could run illegal CIAs from SysNAND, can we convert OOT to cia installable, inject save and run GW exploit without the physical cartridge after emuNAND has been set up for the first time using the real cartridge. (This is interesting)

This thread is open to discussion.

Just impossible, google "digital signatures". Most cias are unsigned and they can only boot if the check is disabled in process9 (which requires an arm9 exploit). PBT uses the old 4.5 process9 exploit each time you boot it to patch the check.

If a similar exploit to OoT was found in a bundled game, then it should be possible, since there are signed cia's of those and they'll work even on sysnand, right?

This would only work with a Clean cia rip, and these can only be obtained if there was a bundle released with the game pre-installed. (there wasn't one for OOT)

and to think i used to hate having the game pre-installed effectively stopping you from being able to resell it........guess nintendo are regretting making pre-installed bundles now, we will probably start seeing more "download code included" bundles...unless they revise their pre-install system and make sure the games are signed on a per console basis
