Hacking Language Select

Hi everyone,
i have a huge problem and couldn't find a solution.. I've searched for 3 hours now.. It's a mess!
I bought a NDSi in the United States and a M3i Zero.
Now I want to play the games in my native language which is german, but some games (M5 or whatever) only start in english...
Is there a way to fool the firmware and force the games to start in german?

(I've tried it through Cheats, but it failed..

unless you're staying for a longer period of time in the US, getting a US DSi was a mistake.
several newer games bought in germany won't work at all on your DSi.
