used etcher not working ..
tryed multiple times, no idea
Code:### Mounting flash ### ### mount filesystem /dev/mmcblk0p1 ... ### *** Error in mount_flash: mount_common: Could not mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 *** ### Starting debuggin shell... type exit to quit ### sh: can't access tty; job control turned off #
Flashed the image with etcher, getting this each time. It just sits. I never got a blackscreen to show it was resizing the partition.
Reflashed 4 times, no difference.
This bug has existed for about 2 weeks now - I posted about it on May 23rd:
to which the dev constantly ignored each of the posts I made about it, while responding to everyone around my posts. I got told by one member that it was because my Micro SD card was an incompatible brand (even though it worked on all other linux distros and homebrew) and when I pointed this out multiple people told me it was my SD card (which I've tried four different sizes and three different brands, and it didn't fix it) and I even got shit for daring to suggest that they might be wrong. The only remote response anyone has gotten from the dev (who seems like a nice guy and does awesome stuff, but is bad at responding to people when they need help?) is "lol wait for the proper release and it'll fix it".
Well, here we are. I hate to say I told you so, but...
EDIT: For those who think I'm being "entitled" or "rude", save your posts. I totally respect the author and the work he does, I'm not ragging on them. The author doesn't owe me anything, but just a "idk why it doesn't work" and providing a few tips of something else I could try would go a long way. Just frustrated because this doesn't work for seemingly no reason and asking for help simply got me shat on and ignored.
@Switch-Live @Miqote I will try to boot soon from Linux, maybe that can help?
no you can reboot to rcm ive been using sftp to tranfer romsDon’t you have to boot back into horizon to fix the WiFi though?
if you're rooted try turmux and run the linux scriptThis bug has existed for about 2 weeks now - I posted about it on May 23rd:

I tried to boot this from linux, but there is the same issue.I thought of this as a solution but i really don’t feel like wiping my PC of windows
I've tried from Linux as well running as root and still the same error. Im using a 16gb scandisk class 10 SD card.I tried to boot this from linux, but there is the same issue.
I'm done.
Don’t you have to boot back into horizon to fix the WiFi though?
Yes, I'm following the guide to the t. I've tried multiple host computers so It may be my SD card but I don't have another to try.Absolutely not, you need to be on a warm boot to have Wi-Fi working. Rebooting to Horizon and then shutting down to go back into RCM is not a warm boot.
As for your SD card issue, the thing it that I don't know. This is very likely a SD card issue. Are you all using the latest boot script from Lakka, not painless linux ?
