You didn't, unless you played on the higher difficulties maybe. But I played through standard, and beat it without abusing shootlocks... O.O I actually really like BBS

Really? This game has such mixed opinions...

I quite liked it, but it was too boring and repetitive for me. Plus Never Land is the crappiest world I've ever seen, the original Neverland was better. The difficulty also had a steep curve.

Well, I played KH ReCoded JPN. It is better than 358/2 for sure. I have to say that if you were expecting it to be better ot as good as BBS, be disappointed. I knew it wouldnt be anyway. BBS is the best KH out there. ReCoded is probably the best KH they can make on a DS though. You can do combos on this KH, not just the same 3 hits you did with roxas in 358/2.

Anyway, someone else has KH ReCoded and he claims it was on display, so chances are more people bought it. Hopefully he'll upload it.

Oh... you have GOT to be kidding me xD KHII Final Remix was waaaaaaay better.

If there was a "Final Remix" game.
BBS really is the best KH released as of now, and it will only be made better with the Final Mix r-release coming soon.

Well what makes KH2 FM that much better? A terra fight, which was an awesome fight, but MF and VS are so much better in BBS. Only thing BBS needed was better air combos like in KH2, but it aint that bad. Even that air combo got boring in KH2 after a while. BBS FM will be sweet too, but again JPN only... A new world, and 2 bosses. Looking forward to No Heart the most. Monstro world looks sweet too. And if theres a secret ending (A new one) even sweeter!

Plus BBS being best is only my opinion. You're welcome to yours. I just felt the BBS story felt epic. I loved the xemnas battle in KH2 as well. I dont care if it was easy, I loved that fight. One of my favourites

Well for me I didnt need to abuse shoot locks. Just used commands and attacks. Only used shoot locks on bosses really, like trinity armor, iron prisoner etc.
Command board is boring I agree, but you're not forced to play it.
I thought playing through the game 3 times was good. It wasnt as if it was exactly the same each time. You saw more of the plot.
Playing as terra, you find his fate and what he does.
Playing as ven reveals Vanitas face and what happened to him.
Playing as aqua reveals what happens while Ven is fighting Vanitas, after the battle ends and the very end of BBS.
It wasnt exactly a little detail. They all shown something significant. Again, its only an opinion, but I think its the best KH so far. And it being on a portable device only raises hopes on how good KH 3DS will be and KH3
