Hacking Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days problems.

I used the Hex Edit on the rom, and it usually works, but sometimes randomly freezez, so if there is a fix for that, can ah hassa sum infoz?

Anyway, onto the main topic. I have an Acekard 2i, using AKAIO 1.5 on my DS lite. I got Kingdom Heats 358/2 Days, and I wanted to play with a few pals. They both have legit copys of the game, but I thought that shouldn't be a problem, as I can connect my Rom of Platinum to my sisters legit copy of Pearl, and it works fine.
When I go into the multyplayer menu, it asks to launch DS communication, I click yes, and the light flashes on the DS to show this. For some reason, it wouldn't show up the group that my friend had set up, so, to try see fix it, I set up the group, but then they couldn't pick up my game.

Is there any way I can fix this problem?

Well, try the multiplayer with a clean rom, since AKAIO doesn't need the patched rom to work.
