Hacking Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days Game Fix Patch

I tried patching the game but it didn't work, but for some random reason it generated a .sav file on my desktop. After converting that, the game started at day 8, nd all was well. However, on day 24 it freezes? Any fix for this (it's the 2nd mission with xion) I'm pretty sure this is a good dump, since I've tried redoing it twice now. If there is no fix, can somene please send me a save past day 24, maybe? Thanks !

Heres the easiest way:

1.download the kingdom hearts 358/2 days rom in *snip this part
2.extract it and put it to any file
3.when you start the story mode then freezes with a blank screen you will need the patch
4.it has a piracy protection so you have to patch it with an IPS.

it is the fastest and easiest way to patch it
it will take only a less time to patch and to download the requirements..

Im an EDGE user but the patch were needed because they didnt make a firmeware?

anyway... I haven't tried KH yet... Still not sure if I should wait or not for an english release. Might as well play Tales of Hearts or Innocence. But which ever is the 2-D one that is similar to Tales of Phatasia, that one xD

Anyways you can try this more troublesome method if you doubt it

1.Tested on DSTT and Currently being Tested on R4/M3.

2.You Need:

3.A FlashCard (iTouch tongue.gif IS EPIC!)

4.A MicroSD (www.amazon.co.uk 4gb ftw)

5.A KHDays ROM

6.And UltraEdit (www.ultraedit.com get the free trial)

7.Use UltraEdit and Open Your ROM.

8.Search for the string using ctrl + f: 01 E2 0C 51 00 0D

9.Change the 0C to 37.

10.Enjoy Playing

I noticed that there are five or six people that have complained that it does not work with the AceKard 2i.
I'm having the exact same problem that the rest of you AceKard2i users are having, where Roxas wakes up, and the screen goes black.

I have:

* the latest Akaio firmware
* tried two different rom dumps
* tried the code string switch with UltraEdit
* tried the IPS patch

Thus far none of these work with the AceKard 2i as five other people have already mentioned. I'm still looking around for a fix specific to this card and firmware, if I find anything I will share it immediately.

About AK2i, You must use the AKAIO 1.41 PROPER Repack, & the newest loader to make it work. This has been confirmed by others on another site (cannot say, because its a rom site).

I have AKAIO from the official site, but what do you mean by "PROPER repack" and "newest loader" mean?

I have found that recently, the game was fixed for AK2/AK2i for AKAIO, without the patch. If you have this firmware, which has the newest loader, you no longer need a patched game. It is fixed by the firmware. The link for the AKAIO Firmware I use (all updated stuff) is below.

If M3 Simply can't function, so R4 does a same result too.

R4 does work with this, but half of the people say they need YSMenu on it to play it correctly. The other half say it works on R4 firmware 1.18. Try YSMenu with the patch.
