Gaming Killer Instinct on VC?

I know Killer Instinct can't be published on Virtual Console due to licensing issues but recently I saw some torrents claiming to be Killer Instinct on virtual console. Are those real and do they really work?

Licensing issues? I know Rare developed it but isn't KI one of Nintendo's games? I think Rare developed Donkey Kong and they've managed to find their way to Wii VC. Its not an official release, it will be a SNES WAD injection and it does work. People on here have been gushing about how cool a retro kick it is.

Well make sure you have some form of brick protection before you install it, could be a bad channel...

nintendo developed dk they just gave rare permission to make the games when they owned the company.
