Nope but too little stat isn't enough. I recommend putting some health stats. But tell me how many chapter have you done so far at intensity 9.0.?
I also agree with your description of beam claws. Little power but long range and cont fire aid for survival. But that was the prob. for me. I needed more power then the beam claws could take. Eventually I stumbled into the violet palm which lets me assess almost every situation.
(As an example I loved the fact that I could shoot higher than he walls to shoot the heart of Hades XD)
Health stats are very useful, but I personally find that in levels where healing situations tend to be plentiful,
overall defense + recovery effect is better than overall defense + health.
As for chapters I've cleared on 9.0, I've done these so far, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 16, 20, 25.
I've kinda been doing these in order, the chapters not mentioned I've mostly not tried on 9.0, save for 19 and 21.
Chapter 21's air battle gets really rough when the Chaos Kin pursuit starts, getting that part down should be enough to clear it on 9.0 since the land battle isn't that much of a problem.
Chapter 19 I'm trying to clear with this Earthmaul Club I've fused. It actually does very well for me, it's about getting used to using it and rehearsing the level. Only two attempts so far, finished it on 8.0 after the Snong and Vakloom proved to be a problem. I know how to handle them now though, no mistake about that.
The Earthmaul Club's stats are R6, M3, Overall Defense +5, Recovery Effect +4, for value 335. With a club that boasts the longest ranged attack in the game and naturally very high melee damage anyway, I think it's alright. With how long the tower is, survivability is what counts.
