Yeah, I'll need some of that too. It's currently a Shock Orbitar, and it's proven itself FFA-worthy, but is easily counterable though. not very good in any range but long, and shot cancellation is awful. i'd have preferred a Palm better.

I'm quite critical when it comes to evaluating weapons so prepare yourself for some harsh criticism.
At least few of my favorite weapons.
Rapture claws
range 6 melee. 3
Overall defense 2 health 1 weakening 1 speed +4
... I'll rate it 8. You got a good base going but you can make it better. Aim for melee stats or stars, aim it a 'bit higher'. Stamina +1 will be enough too.

Knuckle staff
range 5
melee :/
Shot defense 3 health 2 shaking 3 speed 2 melee dash 3 effect duration (?) 1
I hate it. Range is good, but it doesn't benefit the weapon a lot. Melee dash is good but easily counterable. Melee combo would be better. And put stars in it too. If you can't put melee stats or stars, then add weakening to double your dmg output.

8.5. It's a good club. Especially with the weakning stats. Put invis shots in it, and you'll be raking kills easily.

8.5 To be honest, I would put the melee stars a smidge less to add another stat. Namely, the dash cont. fire stat. It's deadly with this weapon.

9.5 Good overall but I wouldn't put burning in it. But it's more assurance of reducing it's HP so good overall. And it's Arlon Orbitars. LOL

9. Standing shot is great but you need to aim. That's the bad part. XD I prefer the dash shot stat with it. As it KILLS! But that's my take. Freezing helps, allows you another shot if it charges fast enough. Too bad no melee stars as it has the greatest melee of all orbitars but it's not a total loss tbh.

Now, that's uncalled for. There's no need to make me jelly! :)

Run all you want, forward dash charge, continuous fire... wow, you really lucked out. and it's a Violet Palm too! my fave type of palm... the continuous fire on that thing is insane... i used to have one with Shot Range and Shot Homing +3, and I barely need to move during Air Battles on intensities lower than 7. any higher though, and the lack of defense becomes really apparent and painful.

8.5. It's a good club. Especially with the w stats. Put invis shots in it, and you'll be ranking kills easily.

Yes, you've made it quite clear that you work hard for your weapons, no need to insist it. Ideally though, i'd have preferred homing, range and continuous fire on that thing. Dash charged shots are fast enough to hit consistently, but the real beauty is continuous fire. low knockback means you get hit many many times before you get knocked back and become tougher for a bit, high rate of fire means you hit fast and hard, range and homing means you can harass from mid to long range with impunity.

i'm nowhere near a palm like that though.

Homes in easily already so no need. 5 1/2 stars in range continuous fire makes dash continous fire exceed 100+ dmg. Forward dash ch shot = 184 dmg. (1-2 hits usually kills most people)
Petrify allows me to finish them easily.
Stamina lets me spam Dash shots.
I don't want to shoot from far because the farther you are, the weaker the palms power gets. It reduces to a mere 150 dmg min for the normal farthest range and I don't want it any weaker than that for the forward dash shots.
Throw all of this, with Invis shots, and I dominate the arena.To be honest I use dash cont. shots to harass people when they dodge or I combine then with charges shots to make it more deadly.

Yep I've been pretty busy with the game and now I understand how fusion works from a technical level (Sakurai is a genius. Omfg). And once you do, you're set to make OP weapons.

Pray tell, what exactly do you think a weapon should have for 9.0 runs? The highest OD/Health bonuses possible?

Actually my Beam Claws for soloing 9.0 is Ranged 4.5, Melee 5.5, Overall Defense +4 and Recovery Effect +4.
I'm hoping that these Beam Claws will be a bit more helpful in Boss Rush, where recovery effect isn't all that useful.

Hahaha you're funny.No an No. A decent amount of defense and a decent amount of power. Having the highest amount of defense and health is USELESS if your weapon cannot kill. At the same, having the greatest power is USELESS if your health almost reduces to nothing in one hit. My palm has both power and defense. Simple as that. And it has a stat that further supports it.
Take it from someone who soloed and keeps soloing all chapters at the highest intensity.

Anyway, OD seems a little stupid to put all that focus into, specially seeing how you had a Palutena Blade that had that plus a few other mods.
I don't know dude. I used to be like that. But then I discovered the potiential of weapons in all classes. Since then, I prefer to be a weapon specialist. I use all types to weapons and have funs with the mods to see the best effects of the weapon.

Beam Claws are great, although they don't have the best attack output of some claws, their long range, good speed boost and superb continuous fire give you great survivability.
An overall defense boost really aids natural evasion that comes with them.

Health stats are very useful, but I personally find that in levels where healing situations tend to be plentiful, overall defense + recovery effect is better than overall defense + health.

As for chapters I've cleared on 9.0, I've done these so far, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 16, 20, 25.
I've kinda been doing these in order, the chapters not mentioned I've mostly not tried on 9.0, save for 19 and 21.
Chapter 21's air battle gets really rough when the Chaos Kin pursuit starts, getting that part down should be enough to clear it on 9.0 since the land battle isn't that much of a problem.
Chapter 19 I'm trying to clear with this Earthmaul Club I've fused. It actually does very well for me, it's about getting used to using it and rehearsing the level. Only two attempts so far, finished it on 8.0 after the Snong and Vakloom proved to be a problem. I know how to handle them now though, no mistake about that.

The Earthmaul Club's stats are R6, M3, Overall Defense +5, Recovery Effect +4, for value 335. With a club that boasts the longest ranged attack in the game and naturally very high melee damage anyway, I think it's alright. With how long the tower is, survivability is what counts.

Not only that, health benefits in air battle, Recovery effect doesn't (If your talking about the recovery orb, plz they don't heal largely enough. Basically you need to tough it out until the land battle starts.)
Nicely done. You've done alot. The pursuit with the Chaos Kin is really that tough? I don't find it tough at all siince I almost never get hit.
You got the main gist right. Although I cannot WAIT to see how you'll fare in chapter 24.
It's funny though, you've used all knids of weapon to do the chapters, Hahaha and I only used one. LOL Must be fun to do all of that fusing. XD

It basically doubles their effectiveness, during the long battles of Chapter 25, the recovery orbs that show up will practically fill up an unboosted health bar to max.
I'm not stupid I know EXACTLY what each stat does. And that's exactly why I DON'T need it. I prefer having max defense, decent power, and an outrageous long bar of health. I don't care if it doesn't heal all of my HP bar or not as long as I can do all the chapters quickly, effectively, and not having to rely mostly on powers.
And so far, my strategy worked, I can't remember the last time I had a gameover. The only chapter where I was finished as in Chapter 24 at the last boss and that was a long time ago.
