So my brother and I just recently got Kid Icarus Uprising and we want to play multiplayer (light vs dark) against each other, but with actual people and not just some crappy AI. We've tried joining the game at the same time and also tried joining each other's games from the friend codesection, but none of these work. Is there any solution, is it possible that we play together with other random people?

That's annoying, although I guess the AI aren't that bad it this game, and you still get the bonus weapons and powers.

Hopefully when Nintendo Network comes with those supposed game updates and patches, we can petition Nintendo to fix little irritants like that.
And maybe ask for kid Icarus DLC, such a short game but really awesome.

I personally thought it was pretty long for a handheld. It took me something like 15 hours to beat the solo campaign (most reviewers called it a "12+ hour campaign"). Which, come on, is longer than most console FPS campaigns. lol

True, but is still really fun, hope a sequel comes to the 3DS.

Oh yeah! Probably wont me for at least 2 or 3 years if it does happen, though. :( Seriously, halfway through the campaign I was ALREADY sad that the game wouldn't last forever and wanted a sequel. lol
Hahaha, yeah, I love how they made the characters so interesting, especially Viridi.

Yeah. Viridi really grew on me. I was really happy when they made her become a sort of anti-hero type character instead of a villain.
Yep, all the characters developed well. I loved how all the characters joked even when they were enemies too.

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
