Hacking Just upgraded to 4.1 & have a quick question

Just used the 'ultimate 4.1' guide to update from 3.2E to 4.1E & everything seemed to go ok in the end (had to do a couple of the steps a different way round for some reason).

I noticed that whilst the firmware was being installed to 4.1 a message came on screen saying either 'updating' or 'installing' shopping channel, yet when I go th the shopping channel from the wii menu it simply takes me back to the wii menu.

So, to fix this do I need to install WiiSCU.............or is there something I haven't done correctly?

No, you use Wiiscu to install the wii shop

Isn't the wii shop the same as the wii shopping channel?

If not, what do I need to do?

Download WiiScu 2.2 on the right...

Then to use it, drag it to your SD card and use it like any homebrew app...


Then you'll see a list of stuff that you want to install, choose the wii shop/wii shopping channel
