This is slightly depressing. Do you have a link? Also FBI in that case does pretty much the same thing as GodMode9.Now his 3DS is totally bricked since he has no backups.
Sounds like FBI is more dangerous than GodMode9.
BTW, is this the first case bricking a 3DS by mistaking deleting CTRNAND files?

i have that filesIt seems that CTRTRANSFER could not be processed if missing those 3 files.
In this case, we should create folders & import those 3 files to make the CTRNAND as same as other console's CTRNAND.

You had better tell the owner but not us about this.i have that files
Wow, I don't mean to interject into someone else's thread but... I am about to attempt to hack my new Hyrule edition 3ds next week (when it arrives) and seeing things like this make me second guess whether it's wise.
Don't mess with things if you don't know what they are. They could be system files and you could potentially screw up your system. By this, I mean don't do what this guy did and delete everything. Hacking your console is a painless process. Follow instructions thoroughly and you'll be fine.Wow, I don't mean to interject into someone else's thread but... There are very many successful people who have hacked their consoles. You just don't hear about them as much as people who need help unbricking or confirming a brick. You've got nothing to worry about. Just follow directions and you'll be fine.I feel a sense of sadness for people who brick their s***, it's like they've had a death in the family, heh. I tend to NOT mess with stuff once I am done jailbreaking/hacking unless there is an update to be performed. I still get nervous when updating Cobra on my PS3 and that is nearly a zero % chance of anything bad happening. I notice a lot of people on here do crazy stuff like switching back and forth between CFW and downgrading/upgrading time after time... It's no wonder you here about so many bricks. I plan on installing A9LH and Luma, I guess I am lucky to be doing this at a time when a good CFW is out.
If he had the backups then it would never be a problem. And from the topic being discuessed here it seems that the dude who bricked might have been able to recover his machine if he had stored the right backups?
