Hacking Just Dance 2015 - Black screen?

CIOS 250: (PM for the link)
Wad Manager: (PM for the link)

You need the last version of USB loader GX. Use the automatic installer to get it: http://usbloader-gui.googlecode.com/files/USBLoaderGX_Installer_v1.8.exe

1-Install the last version of USB loader GX in your SD. If you need more help, go to the official wiki (https://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/wiki/Installation)
2-Download and put Wad Manager 1.8 in your SD.
3-Download and put CIOS 250 in your SD.
4-Launch Wad Manager and browse and Install CIOS 250. Wait until it ends.
5-Launch the last version of USB loader GX.
6-Find "Just Dance 2014" and/or "Just Dance 2015" and go to Game Settings. Set the Game IOS to 250.
7- Load Game.

however after I set game IOS to 250 and load the game Just Dance 2015, it was black and white, and also images are kind of distorted.

also tried my original loader: cfg usb loader, set game IOS to 250, it was black and white as well but the image are normal, not distorted as in USB loader GX.

tried different video mode, still no go...

anyone can suggest what else I can try to make it work?

What region are you trying? NTSC or PAL?

I tried all of them in USB loader GX:
global/system default/ntsc: wii system seems died, has to press the power button 10 seconds to turn off and then turn on again.
disk defaut/pal50/pal60: black and white, image distorted.

I'd like to share how I solved this problem. IOS 250 did not work for me, or at least the one I have (which I know is outdated). I'm paranoid about installing new things, so didn't want to replace the one I had. I ran SysCheck and noticed I did not have any IOS 224 installed, which some said worked for JD 2015.

Based on other's advice here in another thread, I ran ModMii on my PC and had it evaluate my SysCheck log. It recommended a whole bunch of updates, including adding cIOS224[57]-v5.1R so this is what I did, added 224 but nothing else since I hate updating my Wii.

Now JD 2015 works!

If you don't want to run ModMii, I've uploaded the IOS 224 update that ModMii downloaded for me. Just change the settings for JD 2015 so it runs using IOS 224, it worked on both USB Loader and Configurable USB Loader.

I did syscheck as well, it recommended 47 updates. I just installed cIOS224 and tried to run JD 2015 using IOS 224, but didn't work for me

does it worth trying to install all 47 updates? all other games are working fine so kind of hesitate about installing 47 updates...

any advise is appreciated!

Hi guys just signed up to answer this my wii is 4.3e in usb loader i went to the games settings set iso from automatic to 250 changed video to ntsc (backup is ntsc) and just selected save settings and it fixed black screen issue will have a play later and see if i can pin down the exact settings or combo and get you some photos if possible

i had been trying to get just dance 2015 and before this 2014 to work on my pal, finally after using the latest usb loader and the ios from intronaut it worked, now im gonna be ripped for summer. thanks everyone !!

I tried several d2x cIOS from v10, including 250 base 57, but they didn't work. So I tried iOS 224 base 57, which was installed automatically when I ran "Wii Mod Batch 3.0", and it finally worked. I didn't need to change the TV NTSC/PAL settings.

So, the working settings were: USB Loader GX + cIOS 224 base 57 (the file is cIOS224[57]v51rodries.wad in "wii mod batch 3.0")

I had the same problem, but I installed the 250 IOS again (through WAD Manager 1.8 this time), changed the Game iOS to 250 and it worked.

Yup I know your perfect solution. I had this problem and it took me 8 hours of hard research to fix it. You need IOS 224. Not just any 224 but a specific revision. Here's the link: -REMOVED-

Install it (I used WiiMod). And go to game settings for Just Dance 2015 and change boot ios to 224.

Did set USB Loader GX to run this specific game to run using ios 224? I have PAL as well.
And did you download the link I put? Well now it got removed lol. Because you need this SPECIFIC revision. I've tried other revisions and it didn't work.

changing the game loading settings to 224 or 250 won't work. It's a pal version and I've tried to force it pal, yet the Wii turns black and the remote disconnects. The only way to get it going is to press power for 10 seconds.

Just dance 2015 is running on ISO250 .So choose that iso when loading game, if it's won't work, update your isos with Pimp My Wii
