Hacking Just Dance 2015 - Black screen?

I'd like to share how I solved this problem. IOS 250 did not work for me, or at least the one I have (which I know is outdated). I'm paranoid about installing new things, so didn't want to replace the one I had. I ran SysCheck and noticed I did not have any IOS 224 installed, which some said worked for JD 2015.

Based on other's advice here in another thread, I ran ModMii on my PC and had it evaluate my SysCheck log. It recommended a whole bunch of updates, including adding cIOS224[57]-v5.1R so this is what I did, added 224 but nothing else since I hate updating my Wii.

Now JD 2015 works!

If you don't want to run ModMii, I've uploaded the IOS 224 update that ModMii downloaded for me. Just change the settings for JD 2015 so it runs using IOS 224, it worked on both USB Loader and Configurable USB Loader.

So the only thing people need to do is install IOS 224 and force the tv mode in the settings?
How do I install an IOS using that wad?

Had the same black screen with Just Dance 2015 PAL on my Wii 4.3E
Using IOS250 solves my problem! Thanks!
No need to change video mode or anything, only changed from IOS249 to IOS250.

[EDIT]
Same problem with Just Dance 2014, solved it with switching to IOS250! :D

Got it working thanks to Shadow on IRC. Not sure what we did but its all good now!
please details, please enven if it's not clear

Got it working thanks to ariankordi way :)
you forced PAL60? please a report...

Never suggest using Brick My Wii, that tool is known for borking systems - use ModMii instead.

works 1000 percent on wii with 4.3u

I installed Homebrew on my Wii years ago and now my daughter got JD 2015 for Christmas and I can't get it working.
I tried wiping everything, downloaded ModMii, activated various versions of IOS but still get the black error screen telling me to turn off the Wii and contact Nintendo.

Any step-by-step guide on how to fix? I've tried activating the various mentioned versions but either I am doing it wrong or there is something else killing it. Almost ready to try PmW...

I had the same problem, but I installed the 250 IOS again (through WAD Manager 1.8 this time), changed the Game iOS to 250 and it worked.

If someone needs the IOS wad, only reply me.

I have tried adding IOS 224 as mentioned by "just4" and didn't get JD2015 NTSC working. I have also installed IOS250 base 57 using WAD Manager 1.8 as mentioned by "Introunaut" but still no luck.

Is it possible that USB Loader GX that we are using is different than whose one working?

Strange, because I've tried the CIOS 250 method in two Wii's. I sent a PM.

Yes! Finally I got Just Dance 2015 working using "Intronaut" CIOS250 and WAD Manager 1.8. Thank you "Intronaut" for your files.

Just to share with everyone, if your USB Loader GX is older version you may not be able to run JD2015 even you load CIOS250 base57.

What I have done, I have installed USB Loader GX 3.0, then install CIOS250 base 57 using WAD Manager 1.8. Then in JD2015 set the CIOS to 250. I have done the same settings for JD2014 and it worked as well.

If anyone want latest USB Loader GX and CIOS250, contact "Intronaut", I don't want to share his link here, if he wants he will post it or provide them to you.

Well, I would love some help if anyone has had this problem...

When attempting to run Just Dance 2015, I am not greeted with a black screen (unless I run it directly from my disc). Instead, I try to run JD2015 from USB Loader GX, and it kicks me out to the homebrew channel.

I've tried all the solutions in this thread (that are working for others) yet nothing seems to be working for me. I've tried launching the game with CIOS 250, 249 and 224. I've updated 250 and 249 with d2x v6 using the d2x cIOS installer. I downloaded cIOS224[57]-v5.1R.wad and installed it using WAD manager 1.7 (I couldn't find a reliable english download for wad manager 1.8)

I've tried forcing PAL60 (even though my projector is ntsc) while trying to launch from IOS 249, 250 and 224. Yet nothing is working. Always kicking me out to the homebrew channel.

FYI Just Dance 2014 works fine as does EVERY other game I've ever tried. Any other thoughts out there on how to get Just Dance 2015 to work?

I have 4.3U by the way.

I want to play just dance 2014 and 2015 on my wii and it keeps on giving me a black screen. I downloaded so many ISO files in torrent but still no luck. Im using my neogamma and WBFS manager to play my games via USB. Can someody walk me thorugh the whole process because im pretty new to the Wii console and I dont know where to start. Thank you guys.
