Early this morning around 2500 pirates were taken to court for illegally downloading games. One even got slapped with more than 20,000 U.S dollars for downloading "Dream Pinball". Only 500 are actually being ordered to pay. But now might be a chance for you guys to slow down on your downloading

This is getting ridiculious.
Its not like these industries are losing that much.

If these people woudlnt make their products so expensive then maybe people would actually consider buying them.

, personally i use RapidShare etc...Torrents screw me over too much, but if this gets much worse, im probally gonna end up having to buy them used and doing it myself. And it might apply to DS, it didnt really say, just handhelds/music in general.

They're basically sending 25,000 people a notice to pay up (around $500 USD), but out of those who choose not to pay, they randomly select 500 and pursue legal action. What bastards. Over a fucking shit game.

Get this: An unemployed mother of two was fined 16,000 pounds ($30,000 USD) for downloading this shit pinball game.
