I tried restoring by backup, and again it just froze the springboard, on the first attempt actually.
After the springboard freeze it just black-screens my iPod touch, I'll just have to dismiss this as not working.

this is probably the easiest way to hack jailbreak yer device but i found many probs with it for which i shifted to others like crashing emus

The way the jailbreak handles the filesystem is different in jailbreakme 3.0
That might actually be a good reason to rejailbreak a device that was jailbroken with Redsn0w

It's good. I tried it and works perfect you must restore and update to 4.3.3

It works fine on my iPad 2 3G (on 4.3.3). There's a known bug that the Camera Connectivity Kit stops working with saffron jailbreak, and lots of people report it slowing down rotation on springboad, but I've not had any problems at all.
