I've become interested in cases of folks who end up missing in forests / national parks

OP
Since a few years ago I started watching documentaries and videos of people who were either murdered, stabbed, shot, or etc, but the ones that perplex me are those who visit national parks and are never seen again.

I hope no one ever dares to go into a forest all by himself (or herself) as you never know what you'll encounter, and if you're by your lonesome you logically don't have backup in case you need help or protection (against one or more persons). Now, I'll leave you with two videos — No one knows why people are going missing exactly, but many make guesses.

Personally, I wouldn't risk such an adventure as I've seen my fair share of strange things without an explanation. If you do, don't go alone and carry protection for self-defense in the event that you need it. Don't try to play superhero, we're just human.

RIP the victims.
