ROM Hack It's possible to reverse enginnering the Mii QR reader/creator from Miitomo?

Playing with Miitomo I've noticed one thing. I'ts just not only recognize the Tomodachi Life QR, but the Mii Maker QR also (Only with share and copy enabled, no Special Mii sadly...).

I don't have any reverse enginnering skills or knowledge. But, my questions to anyone with that skills is:
  • It's possible to reverse enginnering the entire Mii QR from this app?
  • It's possible find any AES engine keys for decrypt/encrypt Mii QR equivalent to 3DS?
  • If it's possible, can we make a PC app to edit Mii QR?
Note: The Tomodachi Life also recognize the Miitomo QR.
