Like the title says i want to know if its possible to create a homebrew that run any 3ds game in extended memory mode, like pokemon sun moon mario maker... i mean it runs like that so the performance can stand out, specifically for old 3ds system , if its possible i want to test hyrule warriors i that mode. Maybe its not possible but i want to know anyway :) .

It won't make anything run faster. Additionally, if you wanted more stuff on the screen at one time, the game would have to be programmed to take advantage of the extra space. So just setting the extra memory flag or "creating a homebrew" to do the same won't help.

Understood, but for me its not like i want more things on screen, its too keep that way it was but with a little performance boost... but it seems to be impossible... for now i think

@Sicklyboy, Hm, Minecraft has always been the same.

I think you get the ropes of how it works. It's a sandbox game where you build stuff and create new worlds. I've never played it in almost a decade.

@SylverReZ, nah fam, there's so many more create and block types than when I stopped. When I stopped they had basically just added villagers I think. Now there's mansions and shit lol

Sure core gameplay is the same but the amount of objects is notthibg like the last I saw

@Sicklyboy, I was around when villagers were added, played the Xbox 360 version, not on PC because my machine couldn't run it.

Some friends have recently been trying to convince me to get into modded minecraft, but I have already been warned ages ago that getting into modded minecraft is a dangerous rabbit hole into losing all the free time in your life. It doesn't particularly interest me anyway. And I need my free time for important things...

@IC_, And there are chances that you could get banned or even worst when you use mods.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I just stick with the ole reliable way to play MC, even though my friends have said to play it with mods. Lol.

Banned where? Aren't mods very popular in the Java edition? They have been for ages.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@IC_, Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you've bought Minecraft from the Microsoft Store, you can only use it if the account is linked. And the odds of getting banned when using them is a risk to take.

I no longer have a "legitimate" copy of Minecraft anyway. I refused to create a Microsoft account when they were doing that whole stupid migration thing, so my Minecraft license is no more. At this point I don't have much interest in playing such a game anyway, but the few times I or some friends wanted me to play it, I just used a non-legit launcher. They did that to themselves, I didn't have a choice.

Does Microsoft's Minecraft Java at this point really have so much spyware, that it reports to Microsoft whether mods are being used or not?
