Hacking It is a good idea to hack the switch?

Im gonna have a nintendo switch this week (50% off) and im wondering if its a good idea to hack it
Because I don't care a lot if my 3ds are ban now because its almost the end of the life of this console but I really don't want to be ban on switch. If I ask the question its because I never heard people claiming they are ban on switch with cfw

If you aren't willing to accept the possible consequences, then you shouldn't use CFW on the Switch when it's released. Personally, I think it's well worth the risk.

Userland homebrew on 3.0.0 is not the same thing as custom firmware.

Atmosphere-NX will be the first Switch CFW, and it hasn't been completed yet.

I have pick the risk with my 3ds and never got a ban, and now the 3ds are at the end of his life so I don't care anymore but the switch gonna have smash and probably pokemons in the future so I don't know

If you are unwilling to accept the risks of using CFW, then you should not use CFW.

Yeah I think im not going to hack it unless nobody got ban after few years and they have unban method like on 3ds with friendcode seed

If you want to hack the Switch, you should buy one in the near future and not update it. We have no idea if/when 5.0.0 will get CFW. As of now, Atmosphere-NX will only be compatible with 1.0.0-4.1.0. In addition, if you decide not to use CFW on your Switch, you will be required to update your Switch in order to play newer games, and that has the potential of locking you out from ever being able to use CFW.

i would wait it out if i were u, hacks are gonna be fun.
and if it eventually comes anywhere close to the wiiu/3ds then you wont have to worry at all about going online with cfw as long as you dont cheat online you'll be okay.

Maybe not, but I expect ban. If you really like online, might be a good idea to buy another switch just for online games....

meh nah first of all I don't think they gonna have any discount for the switch and even if they put it at 50% I don't have the money for it, its for this reason I think im gonna buy one if its really in discount

Then if you can barely afford one like me, I think you should buy it, buy a discounted Zelda cartridge and test the console for defects by playing zelda. Then wait for it to be cracked so you can get games.
