Hallo,

I got an unpatched Switch V1 and I wanted to Hack it with an EmuNand.
I used the Reddit SwitchPirates Tutorial, which is structured as follows. At first the generally points, than the EmuNand points and at the bottom of the page the SysNand points.
At first everything was self-explanatory.

But I made a bad mistake. I was distracted And scrolled at the end of the page.
So I did half of the EmuNand points and the other half of the SysNand parts.
Than I was in hekate and clicked on "Atmosphere CFW (SysNAND CFW".

At first I would say I f***** it up and the Switch will be banned. But now the point where I have a little bit of hope.
After clicking on Atmosphere CFW at first nothing happened, than the errors "failed to apply nosigchk" and "failed to launch HOS" appeared.

So my question is, did I have luck, that I did a mistake while installing it. Or will the Switch now be banned?
At the moment I still can not start into CFW. Even if I follow the EmuNand points. Still the same Errors.

If it didn't start, you should be fine, and even if it did, as long as you don't have anything other than official NSP's and functionalities, you should still be fine. No need to worry.

Thats a good information.
Would it be a good Idea to install my backup or use Haku33 (if it is possible to use it while in hekate). And start completely from scratch.
Or should I try to figure out why these errors appear?

Do not skip any steps. And I'm not familiar with the Switch Pirates tutorial but it sounds outdated if you're getting a "failed to apply nosigchk" error. That's usually caused from an improperly configured hekate_ipl.ini file.

And what Tutorial should I use instead. Do you have a favorite?

I do not currently as the two big ones that most people used and that I learned everything from were taken down & at this point I don't need to use a tutorial to mod a Switch.

"failed to apply nosigchk" to me implies that your hekate_ipl.ini file still has references to sigchecks in it that need to be deleted. You can delete this line from that file: kip1patch=nosigchk

Also, I would recommend not using sigpatches and instead use sys-patch from here:

Try deleting the line I mentioned from your hekate_ipl.ini file, installing sys-patch, then rebooting and see what happens.
