Hi!
While I'm inside the System Menu or an official game, pressing any button on a second controller disconnects all Wiimotes and renders them useless until I reset the console. The only way I can connect more than one Wiimote while in-game is by using the home menu sync method, and if a Wiimote disconnects due to inactivity, I have to reconnect it using the previously stated method before pressing any button on it (so that the controllers don't disconnect and stay disconnected till I reset the console). Desyncing and resyncing the controllers inside the System Menu with the red button method only works till I leave the System Menu.
I've tried installing ModMii iOSes over the ones I had and even factory resetting the console; nothing has worked so far. Interestingly, I have no issues connecting a second, third or fourth Wiimote inside the Homebrew Channel or RetroArch.
