Gaming Issue with massive cheat database cheats not appearing

Well, I downloaded and put the cheat.dat into my Sys folder, and cheats appear for some games, but they won't appear for my Platinum (U) ad Pearl (U) even though they're on the gamelist. So I went into the R4CCE thing, and checked the Game ID. The Game ID of the rom and the Game ID the cheatslist had are the same. I have tried replacing the .NDS file for my Platinum with no success.

At this point, my only thought is that there might have been a mistake, because their addition appears to have been relatively new, when putting the codes in, and that it's not appearing because none of the codes will work or something like that.

Oh, and to clarify. The "Cheats (Y)" menu doesn't appear, meaning it doesn't detect cheats for it. I've attempted to use both the USRCHEAT and CHEAT.DAT but not at the same time.

And I'm not really sure what to do now

using a R4?
if im not wrong, the R4 can't hold so many cheats.
try deleting half of them (you know, games you are not interested in using cheats with)
or try using YSMenu (I think it should work with it)

This turned out to be exactly the problem.

Thanks! I think it would be nice if this was mentioned on the massive cheat database thread. I sorta thought perhaps there was a typo with the mastercode, but then remembered they like, don't use master codes since the GBA I think...

solution is so simple!
-just get r4cce (the editor from yasu) to delete at least 700 games

-use ysmenu

Ooh... I guess I wasn't expecting it to be in the download area. >.< At first I thought it was a problem with those games only though.
