Hacking Is ysmenu safe for this r4 ? Heard stories of it bricking some clones.

Hello I am new to this and this website and ds r4s so I am curious if the
New R4I 2019 SDHC Dual Core Gold Pro Flash Card Adapter
Is compatible with the ysmenu after hearing stories of YSmenu bricking r4s. I am ordering this card from newegg and am using it to add ds games and console emulators/roms to my dsi xl (if there are any other problems I should know of I would appreciate the tips. Thanks for the help just want to know if you guys think it would be smart to put ysmenu on my card.

Don't quote me on this, but I've have 2 of the same page's flashcard, and I've runned into any problem by now, but in one of 'em YSMenu doesn't load any games and gives a patch error. The other one is using RetroGameFan's kernel.
If you have a little bit of money ($10 USD more) you should buy this one, is far reliable and it uses Wood.

I’ve never really heard rumors about Retro’s files bricking those carts. I’ve been using YSmenu on mine for over 3 years without any issues

You should get them on Aliexpress or Amazon (unfortunately a little expensive.....)
They should be all the same "Clones".

Thanks this has been a huge help almost decided not to do after hearing of ysmenu bricking them but now I feel much more confident.
