Shouldn't be impossible no. Theres Wiiscrubber for extracting data from isos but how easy it woud be to undub an game is questionable

Quite why this is not in the hacking section I am not sure but still

I personally use wii scrubber for wii iso manipulation but http://wit.wiimm.de/ also comes highly recommended.

    Relevant- http://gbatemp.net/topic/328729-wii-and-gc-standard-hacker-grade-iso-and-wad-manipulation-tools/

As for undubbing itself- the Wii is not a self contained affair like the GBA and earlier consoles so it is standard practice- hope it is just a single file (or selection of files the same name) that afford a 1:1 replacement and if so then swap. If not you have to figure of what changed and where and how to put it all back in order. As it is just a localisation I do not envisage a hard time (if anything localisations tend to lose information)- the hard stuff tends to come when dealing with cross platform ports and remakes.

Wiiscrubber. That tool can extract and replace individual files within an ISO

Do you think it's possible to do a simple file swap with this particular game?
I'm tempted to even do it myself.

Edit: If someone was able to do this to the game, or even a step-by-step instructions would be my hero of the year. :)

You MAY be able to use GC-Tool to do it, since Wii and GC are similar formats. There are more than a few editors for this though.

I tried checking out Inazuma Eleven Strikers but both the JAP and PAL formats have different files, so to speak.

An example is how their techniques are seperated into different voice clips (when I mean this I mean one voice clip he says Dragon. And there's another one saying Crash) whilst in the PAL version they're all united.

It's not so easy as to replace a file or two the way I see it.

Edit: Forgot to mention this really saddens me, the english voices are way beyond crap to the point of ruining a game experience. The japanese ones had so much passion to it.

Edit2: I just remembered, I believe the thread creator should change his thread's title to Inazuma's undubbing process.

Best to ask the guys from Undubbing.com, they have an undubbing forum and community just for that purpose.

You keep plugging the site and I agree it probably is dedicated to the matter- however undubs are pretty simple to pull off in most cases and the harder ones are still things we handle around here (we have active and possibly leading ROM/game hacking sections for all the consoles we deal with save perhaps for the PS3).

What's the point of an undub? You guys prefer reading english over hearing english?

It has already been done with Arc Rise Fantasia, I don't see how it's impossible.
About the difference of the file format, that sucks. Maybe it's some sort of archive? I know of tools to open rarc and arc files, and mkwii Tools
Could you give more info about the file formats?

Again? In cases where there is bitching about the released version being in English when you wanted Japanese I will join you in belittling the people calling for it. However this seems to be more about personal preference and done after the fact so we tend to let it slide a bit more.
