I tested this out on my PSP-1000 but I'm wondering if this will work on a PSP-3000. My friend wants me to add CFW (IE: TN-C) on a borrowed PSP-3000 and due to it being bought in late 2009 I can only install TN-C. But I want to make sure there is almost no possibility of it bricking.

Solution
Since PSP-3000 CFW doesn't write to the flash, it's perfectly safe from bricking. The software only lasts until the system is fully powered off, to which then it goes back to the OFW that was installed.
