Alright thanks. So USB loaders can't play GameCube games for whatever reason but can play Wii games. Darn! I will buy this USB device at Best Buy and try it out. But not USB Gecko since you are all saying it is a different device.

You are by far the dumbest person I have encountered on the internet. That's saying a lot.

Why would you have a wii emulator on a wii? It just makes no sense. Why can't he just be banned for his own protection?

I am not asking for a wii emulation I was just asking for the USB information that I need in order to run downloaded wii games and wished downloaded gamecube games would work with it too.

And coto once again I am not trolling this site. I am trying to ask serious specific questions since I am very computer illiterate. I don't even know how to send folders and files through yahoo and msn. I fail hard at computer knowledge and I don't even know how to use much of word or excel. I'm serious about this. so please stop telling everyone that I am trolling this place up.

WODE is a modchip, meaning that you will have to open your Wii to install it. It can also only be gotten online. Only buy it if you can handle opening your Wii.

Alright thanks. And same for any other devices that can read downloaded GameCube games without burning disks? I still do not know why USB's cannot read GameCube games but can read all other downloaded games but I will have to try modchips out and other devices that can read downloaded GameCube games.

Allow me to explain now, but I won't elaborate further on it.

When the Wii boots a GameCube game, it boots BC, which shuts down everything that wasn't on the Gamecube (inc. USB and Bluetooth) and then boots MIOS.
Thus there is no way the USB device can be accessed in GC mode.

You will need to open the Wii to install any chip.

I know about DIOS MIOS, it's just that if he can barely manage things like DOP-Mii, how is he going to set up SNEEK-DI?

I will try this if there are specific instructions to it. Got it now (USB can't load gamecube games). Then this link shows a device that can?

DIOS MIOS is a work in progress that will do almost the same as USB loader for wii but that application isn't release to public. Crediar ( the author ) want to block access to download iso, only original disk will be use. Maybe later it will change but for now, no software give you access to USB gamecube disk loader.

The only way is to buy a modchip who permit it or a usb gecko but compatibility is around 50% working for the gecko ( or any sd gecko clone like this one ).

Wait so now USB Gecko DOES load USB GameCube games. At first I thought you said it didn't. I will buy USB Gecko then. They sell them at Best Buy I am hoping or at GameStop (GameCrazy is out of business now).

Finally, he got something right. Yeah, just walk to GameStop and ask for a 'Wii modchip specialist'- they'll know exactly how to help you!

Wait but for USB Gecko metaguitarist said I don't need a modchip since it is a loader. I am confused. GameStop does not have a modchip specialist.

I am asking......and I will go to Wal-Mart and see if they have it.

And giantpune I don't understand WHY my Wii screen keeps freezing after loading boot.dol from the SD card tab (I have done EVERYTHING correct so far). My Wii was repaired by Nintendo before I started hacking and they took out the modchip I think since I can't play DVD moveis on it. I have 4.3 WAN and 1.0.9 and the newest Homebrew Browser version.
