Hacking Question Is there a way to restore a nand backup without using an SD card?

Just like the title says, my switch doesnt read microsds anymore, i tried replacing the micro sd connector but it still doesnt work, not sure what to to so i wanted to restore my backup that i made before any hacking or modification.

No, it needs to be from SD card, depends on what the issue is, if replacing the flex doesn't solve it, you need to solder wires.

mmm that looks quite complicated. i've never opened the switch before replacing the flex cable, is it still possible that it broke itself?

It's already been answered, only option is to fix your sd card connector

The connector can get damaged from drops.

I think NXNandManager allows users to restore eMMC backups via USB but I've never tried it out for myself.

You can fully restore an eMMC backup or clone an emuMMC file using NxNandManager
You'll need your biskey first
