I'd like to re-format my own SDHC card 8GB, but I have no card reader with SDHC supported now.
Is there a way or a homebrew able to format SD card on Wii directly? Thanks!!

Don't think such an app exists, it would be useful. Dosfsck would be useful too. Linux source for powerpc exists so it could be done if you know any coding. Perhaps you or a friend have a camera that can format the card, I know my cannon can.

Perhaps Wii Linux can do it? Not sure, and its probably overkill to set it up just for that...

Thanks !! So...it seems be hard to do format SD card on Wii...
I'll try the other way using Whiite-Linux-Installer to do this and I hope it can succeed.

Edit: I've formatted my own SDHC 8G with Whiite-Linux-Installer succeesfully though there is two partition in it now.

Perhaps someone can edit the installer to stop it partitioning the card...
