Is there a top-notch quality shell available for the New 3DS (not XL)?

My New 3DS has a floppy hinge. : (

It's the 'regular' model, not XL.

Any help, suggestions??

BTW if its just the hinge thats a problem you can replace it with the newer type. XLs in the video but applies to n3DS as well:



They switched them out from the clicky one that wobbles to the quiet one that doesn't. Finding a spare that specific though, I dunno.

There are some on Aliexpress and such, but i don't think they're comparable to OEM's in terms of quality.. Worth getting one if there isn't any other options out there.. Or if you can get your hands on a broken system, with the shell is intact..

all the ones on ebay, the quality is pretty bad, and thats according to neutral/negative feedbacks. I might still end up getting one cause one the plastic where the screws are is broke on mine.

Japan is the place to find unique faceplates.
If it wasnt for etika I would of not known about this.
I dont have an xl but this really makes the part.
Think i paid £30 on ebay for this.

Sorry just saw the word shell i was thinking faceplates for some reason, I could not say, Japan might be your best bet.
Try sendico for JP auctions they might have 3DS shells.
