Is it safe to use as of 10/11/15 and if u do use Nintendont what does it do to your wiiu

Based on the fact you created a thread to ask about it, i'm assuming you have no idea what it is, therefore, I would not recommend you use it. :-} If at some point you decide to read huge, gigantic, full of information thread dedicated to this one subject than it may become safe.

How familiar are you with homebrew?

Nintendont is a wii (or vwii in your case, since you have a wiiu) .dol file. It runs on itself and uses IOS56 (so no extra cIOS required). AFAIK, it doesn't modify the nand even the slightest bit. As such, the risks of things going wrong are close to none (at worst, it crashes so you'll have to manually restart your console...but it's so heavily tested and updated the last crash was probably months ago).

If some of those terms don't make sense to you (vwii, dol, IOS, cIOS, nand,...) ...do look them up before installing. It's a bit of a learning curve, but it's essential.


If you literally have no idea what nintendont tries to do...then simply don't use it. You won't need it for simply playing wiiu or wii games.

its actualy ios58 since we need usb acess :P
