i have 2 options on my hand now.

should i get the pro or normal slim.

i was going to get the pro for 4k enhanced games, but some games might need updates to enhance the 4k gaming.

is updating thr game even possible with hen.
like is there a pkg with the update where i can install or its not possible yet.

because if not, slim sounds like a better deal right now

well... even if you didn't have 4k tv i would say go with the pro. you have better frame rate on many games like shadow of colossus, god of war, witcher 3. and even without a patch you have "boost mode" on the ps4 pro that can get you a better fps results. also you can stream games if you want at 1080p 60 fps. also you have better VR. i brought the ps4 pro not for 4k but for better frame rate. i honestly can't see any difference between full hd and 4k but maybe it's just me.

Slim. The extra oomph of Pro depends on 3rd party support like you said and even if you have a 4k display, it barely does 1440p for most enhanced games and every ps4 supports hdr if that's what you're looking for. The extra USB port is nice though.

The ps4 pro got super sampling for tv with 2k and lower resolution giving it a good looking clearer HD image , you have the boost mode that help gain some stability fps on alot of games as sony said 2021 for ps5 i think ps4 pro is the best choice there with the price drop and all the exclusive for pro ,btw slim are same as old ps4 just with a better wifi dongle.

both options are avaliable for me, sellers here go both below 5.0.5

If u plan to hack and use it for emulators better get the pro more horsepower but i could be wrong since maybe it need more hacker supports , but i saw some video showcasing the potential of the better cpu clocks and gpu and the 1 extra gb of rams.

So go for the pro their still a slim chance for you to get it!

    But it's a dead end

@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
