Homebrew Is it save to update to the latest firmware?

Hi guys,

I am on the second or third lastest firmware (last update was in august or september). I extracted my otp, got CIA, the arm9 loader and luma custom firmware running. Is it save to just update to the lastest custom firmware? Do I need to update luma first? It was installed in August I followed the github tutorial (https://3ds.guide/). I have no sd card nand, but I got hourglass installed.

It's completely safe to update your console via system settings if you're using Luma3DS with A9LH. I would update Luma first, just to be completely safe (do this manually or with Luma3DS Updater, don't use Star Updater if you have it).
