Hacking Is it safe to install the internet channel wad?

I never installed anything like the internet channel or Check Mii out wad. So is it safe? Right now its pal and i live in america so I'm going to use freethewads. So install it or don't?

It won't work...it was one of the first things I tried before I finally found the NTSC release (wiivc release)

Argh crap... I was thinking of installing the PAL Forecast & News channels on my US Wii as I am a Brit!

i have the internet channel on my pal wii it works fine
