I suspect that's a big no no...

The console ID of the other wii is different so none the channels will work...

I suspect it'll either semibrick or full brick(bootmii will work though)

Can you change your console id?

Another thought is if you did brick a wii by trying to install another's nand, if you had the original nand can you unrbick that with bootmii?

No. you would brick beyond repair. The boot one would be over written by the other nand flash....... this would cause the boot 1 to have a different key than the boot 0 would expect and thusly boot 1 would faile to boot. That means that the wii would never even make it to bootmii.

can not be done. your encryption keys will not match and cause an uber brick.

Is this the kind where your Wii actually turns into a real red hard brick? like the kind you build houses with?

It's doable, and it's already done...

All it matters is you take the other nand, decrypt it with that console's special keys, and re-encrypt it with your console's keys...

Don't ask me, I don't know the actual details...

ps: oops sorry, this guy possibly used two distinct backups of his one system... one on 3.1 and one on 3.2... though still I think it's doable...
