It's like a fix for me with Steam, i can't resist the offers on there, and the Indie games that are being released lately are very good.

There have been dozens of good indie games from XBLA, PSN and PC. Stardust sort of, Super Meat Boy, Castle Crashers, Journey and many more.

Cavestory (Free on PC) and the recent Colors! being a good 3ds example. The DSI has some to.

Well other than the original versions, Cave Story's not really indie anymore since it's got another company developing ports.
