TinyTrimmer officially sucks. Trimmed all of my roms with it, and screwed at least 40% of them. TinyTrimmer removes too many data

NDSTokyoTrim is the best, it never failed, and has never screwed any of my games

I've never trimmed my games (I was always cautious because I often patched my games). Today, I trimmed my 5.5GB of ROMs and managed to save 730MB of space.
You really never trimmed any of your ROMs before

If you were worried about patching, you could have just not trimmed the ones that needed patching until after.

QUOTE(DeMoN @ Mar 25 2010, 11:42 AM) Does anyone know how good the built-in trimmer for the CycloDS EvoTools is?
And do any of these programs work on a 64-bit computer?
Yeah, I was using until just a few hours ago, it's pretty good but doesn't trim certain games(such as ACII).
Now I use both TinyTrimmer(more thorough) and the Evo Tools(automatic) one for maximum effect!!

So what you're saying then is that its ok to trim a game AFTER its been patched?

Yup, as long as it hasn't been trimmed when you try ro patch it!
I've done it a bunch of times, though it is somewhat redundant as most patches do the trimming for you.

Flash is so cheap now-a-days, unless you have an old cart with built-in memory, why do you need to trim your ROMs? From my experience you only save a few Megs...am I mistaken on this?

gotta save what you can, especially with my r4 and its 2 GB limit

I used TinyTrimmer on all my games, and all (except 1 of them) work.
BTW, the 730MB I saved can hold at least 5 more games.

EDIT: Wait, scratch that, I saved 849MB.
