I have been playing around in DSCraft, but that project has been dead for a long time now.

Is anyone working on a Minecraft "port" for the DS?

@OP no one's working on it atm. Smea said he might get back on it though.
IIRC there's even mod support.

Not really. In my answer I was trying to provide an explination for why there hasn't been much demand for an updated DSCraft. As far as I know, no one else has tried or is trying to make a clone of minecraft for DS, and since Smea is off doing bigger and better things, I don't think anyone is working on it or will be soon in the future.

I have tried it. You can't use the latest microlua, but it's pretty awesome.

Still looking for a 3D minecraft though.
