[iOS] I have a few questions about iPA files

I've been messing around with iPA files and looking around online and I have 2 questions so far:

• Would it be possible to create an ipa file to install with cydia impactor , by using the same toolchain that is used to build jailbreak apps to create the executable in the package bundle?
• What is the crc file that comes with the exectuable (e.g. /Payload/minecraftpe.app/minecraftpe.crc)?

Well they could have been built using xcode which only MacOSX supports, the toolchain cydia devs use is cross-platform (at least I think, I haven't looked into it much)

CRC is redndancy checking I think. Its used to check if there is an accidental change in memory.

What files does it CRC though, I tried using cksum on the executable and it doesn't match

Thats what I linked the wiki article. TBH I have no clue what it is, I just quickly googled it. I assume it CRCs world files.

Is it part of a framework? I assume its classified as a support file.

The .crc file has nothing to do with an IPA. (Look at another app's IPA, e.g. Apple Store, and you'll see it doesn't have one.)

It's just a file that Mojang has in their app bundle— don't worry about it.

Scribblenauts Unlimited has one aswell. It must be optional or something though because I found a Game Dev Story iPA which doesn't have one

If another game has it, it's probably a third-party library that both of them use (or some other shared code).
