It would allow access to 3GB RAM which surely has an effect on framerates.

Not really, at least not a very significant effect. It does get rid of some of the out of memory crashes that happen when running in Album hbmenu, though.

Tested on sx fw 5.1, it works fine launching from album or from hbm.nsp

Was never really into Quake 3 but this is still crazy to see in homebrew, amazing work!

Just wondering, though, if it's possible to add gyro aiming, does homebrew have access to that? I don't think I've seen any homebrew use the gyros yet...

Just wanted to point out a small bug? I cant seem to invert my aiming, its inverted by default in the menu but does not actually invert the aiming. Tried on and off ,same thing

Dont know whats going on here but all this does for me is black screen then 2 seconds later goes back to the homebrew menu.
Q3 works fine on my pc.
Any suggestions?

yes. read your crash log in the quacke 3 folder on sd card and will probebly tell you to add a file. thats what i did and it worked for me

That option is for the mouse. To invert joystick aiming, you gotta change j_pitch in q3config.cfg, negating its value, e.g. if it's 0.007, change it to -0.007.

dude have you even read the descrition and solutions? its exactly what it says to do. the crash log is where your NRO file is. description tellls you everything and what files to add.

Dude Iv put all the files where they need to be and iv checked for the error log there is not one there so i cant read what the problem is..

yep i have all the .pk3 files in the correct folder.. One question how big is your pak0.pk3 file? I have 2 which are different sizes. One with music and videos and one without. I think iv Modified the one without music and video from the PSP days.
Either way i have tried both with the same results.

hmm i dont know what could be the problem. mine is 479,5 mb.
