Hacking Injecting games on PS3 OFW 4.81. Is this method legit?

Its legit, its just pretty limited to games with available updates and even with those some gams does not work

Posting in a thread on a dead board. Anyone got a legit tut for this? And does it require a CFW'd ps3 as well?

Tbh I really don't get the point of this announcement if it's only useful to a minority of users that decided to stay on 4.70 by chance. If you were lucky enough to install CFW/have installed CFW then you wouldn't need this. It's entirely useless to the majority of users who haven't been able to take advantage.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
