Hello!

I'm new into this WiiU hacking scene. I have an USA WiiU with 5.5.1, and latest loadiine from github. I usually boot it by going to loadiine.ovh and selecting the Loadiine GX2 option. Everything has been going fine, I've tried Yoshy's Wooly World and Star Fox with no problems at all.

I then decided to give fatal frame a try (downloaded it from -snip-); but I haven't been able to play it. According to the compatibility chart, it has issues with MiiMaker launch method (> 10 minutes loading screens, practically unplayable). So I then decided to boot it through loadiine by using SSB from eShop... no sucess at all.

Is there a proper way to make this game work? I know supposedly Japanese version works, but it doesn't have any english subs at all, so I'm stuck with the EUR release and I simply can not make it work :(

Would you guys please shed some of your knowledge and guide me into what I'm doing wrong?

Totally appreciated, thanks everyone!

You need SSBB disc to boot SSBB launch mode.

SSB eShop version should work.
like you noted, it worked with your other games, so the disc version is not required to use SSB Launch mode.

But maybe this game (project zero) doesn't work with the eShop version of SSB? or your dump is bad/incomplete.
It doesn't work with miimaker at all? you said there are issues, but did you try to check if at least it boots?

Maybe Miimaker and SSB Eshop version have both the same issue and the SSB disc version is working fine.

Fatal Frame is the American title. It's confusing as hell that somebody has labelled it as EUR in the compatibility list. Sorta corrected that just now. If you scroll down, you'll see that Project Zero, the European title for the game has no issues.

I can confirm that. Have dumped it myself and it works fine in MiiMaker mode (probably faster than the disc tbh). Maybe you need to find an alternative resource for it? It could also be a case of the file not downloading properly or your copy of WinRar etc being outdated and it not unpacking correctly.
