but I thought that the names of the Italian anime were also Americans...

I've watched the anime upto what is currently released right now (eps 112), so even w/ limited japanese if I can see what the moves/faces look like I should know the names, but the names of characters specially would be in romaji.

Ok, guys ...
I analized the situation: there are 410 special moves and tactics.
If this would be a real translation, I need serious help.
To translate all, it would take 10 people to end up in a month ...
Is a rather difficult thing, it depends on how you want to have this game in English ...^^

Haha 10 people to translate it within a month? A single, dedicated, good translator could do it alone in that time. 410 entries isn't that much, even if they are multiple lines/sentences each. Hopefully someone that fits the above description is willing to help out. Anyway, good luck

But they aren't a text file, they are graphic!! xD
and in this game grafic is difficult to edit!

Well you're not going to find many translators who can edit the images themselves. Means it'll take even longer to do though, since organisation of that kind of translation is a fair bit harder than text. If you like, I can help out and do a few, but you're gonna need others first or there isn't much point.

Honestly, I suggest you go with the Japanese names, but maybe that's just me.

well your not gonn have a problem with the font(s). You already know the text is sjis.
Wow is that a lot of compressed files file containers.
So do you know where the images are?
Have you decompressed the lz files yet?
have you looked through those uncompressed pac files yet?
I'm seeing a couple pack formats i am not familiar with.
mbd_c.pkb has graphic names in it. gba4bpp your gonna have to fiddle with the offset and/or use the tile composition tool of ct2. That is a lot of names or commands...or something. same with tcd_c.pkb.
I'm thinking that little bit before the graphics could be a pallette for that graphic... you might wanna check that out.

For sure you need to fiddle around with the offset for the other pkb graphic files.
I would love to help but there is just too much work involved for me to even think about committing myself to helping with this. By the way not all the pkb files need to be decompressed.
which is one reason why I can't help. this game is huge and you are gonna need to do a lot of looking around to find the other graphics.
does the font support single byte characters? if not change that. makes translation smoother.

mbd_s534r.pac_had to decompress after a name change with codeclzss then open in ct2 to see (gba4bpp width256) a team title graphic? maybe? - anyway more graphic text to change so graphics to translate could be anywhere.
