Homebrew If I swap SD cards for my homebrewed Nintendo 2DS, will it mess anything up?

Will changing the SD cards and copying all of the data from my old SD card to new SD card, affect the custom firmware or the 3DS games I've installed through the homebrew channel?

Thinking of going to Walmart to buy a 64GB SD card because I'm already running out of storage for my 32GB SD card that's inserted inside my homebrewed 2DS.

It depends on what kind of SD card you are using and what kind of SD card you will be using. The safest approach is to format the new sd card like the old one(filesystem etc.) and then copy EVERYTHING including hidden files and all folders to the new one. This worked for me.

Indeed, just copy+paste everything from the old SD to a new one. Note that 64GB+ SDs come with exFAT as default file system. On modern Windows use Guiformat for getting it reformated to FAT32 which is needed for working in a 2|3DS.

Good luck and have fun!
