If I have a modified eShop, can I use it like the regular eshop?

I mean like decrypted, extracted, modified (the icon is all) and then recompiled. Can I use it like the regular eShop.

Probably, since the only thing that was modified was the icon and none of the URLs and stuff. I'm no expert, though.

    Not here
If you only modified the Home Menu Icon it should work in a CFW with Signatures Patches.

Yes, I modded a bunch of system titles and they still worked fine, as did the eShop. It caused problems with system updates though.

If you have A9LH you can recover with a backup, yes. That's one of the main features of it, but this is off topic.
