It's well-known that Capcom didn't localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2 for a reason; after the bad sales of Ace Attorney Investigations 1, they thought the sequel wouldn't do good outside Japan. (this is just the accepted theory)
What if they tried getting people interested in AAI with the remaster of it on mobile? They really didn't have a reason to port/remaster it other than that. What I think is that they are trying to get people interested, preparing for a possible Switch release of the series/maybe even a new game in the AAI series.
Please keep in mind this is just me theorizing and hoping that my favorite series is gonna get released on the Switch (please make it happen Capcom...)
If I said something stupid, please don't hesitate to point it out.
Thanks for reading!
